Conference Access

Delegates must display Annual Conference delegate badges and present appropriate tickets for admission to Annual Conference areas and activities. Guests of registered Conference delegates must display appropriate official identification or present appropriate tickets for admission to AWBD functions open to guests. Guests are not allowed in any AWBD seminars. Admission to the Welcome session and scheduled seminars is for registered Conference delegates only. Please cooperate with AWBD staff members and Annual Conference security to enforce these guideline policies.

Guest Policy

Delegates are limited to one guest per delegate, and the guest must be 21 years of age or older to receive a guest badge and/or access to any function open to registered guests. Any guest of a registered delegate must have been listed on the delegate’s Comprehensive Conference Registration form. No guest badges are issued at the conference. Guests are only permitted on Thursday, June 18th.

No Children Policy

To help ensure a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we kindly ask that you please make arrangements for children to remain outside of all conference areas at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. This means that children of any age, including infants and those in strollers, won’t be able to enter any AWBD Conference Area that requires a Badge for Entry. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a comfortable environment for every participant!

Expected Behavior Policy

The Association of Water Board Directors – Texas (“AWBD”) policy is that attendees at AWBD events are expected to exhibit reasonable behavior at all times. Attendees who engage in disorderly conduct (including, but not limited to, profanity, threatening behavior, destruction of property, and any other type of misbehavior) are subject to removal from and/or denial of admission to AWBD events.

Conference Photography/Videography

This AWBD event is being photographed and/or videotaped by the Association for publication, display, distribution, and/or broadcast, including television and the World Wide Web. By attending and/or participating in this event, you are giving consent to being photographed and/or videotaped and waiving any and all claims regarding the use of your image.

Member Survey

At the start of the 2026 AWBD Annual Conference Notebook, there is a Member Survey form for feedback from delegates concerning AWBD programming. Please take a moment to complete this form and return it to AWBD Check-In or complete the survey via the ‘AWBD-TX Connect’ App. Your responses provide invaluable assistance in planning future programs and presentations. We also request your e-mail address so that AWBD can send relevant and vital information to you and your district or firm. Please note: Your e-mail address is requested solely for use by the Association. AWBD will not rent, sell, or share your e-mail address and personal information with any third party for any reason.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing, prior to the event to tcavnar@awbd-tx.org. A $50.00 administrative fee is assessed for each conference registration cancelled on or before May 6, 2026. There will be no refunds after May 6, 2026. All registrations are non-transferable.
