On Thursday, March 10th , AWBD was in attendance for the American Flood Coalition (AFC) webinar roundtable highlighting the Strategies for Flood Resilience in Texas. AFC did an excellent job discussing the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and additional ways to invest in flood resilience.

The AFC also announced on March 10, 2022 that Chase Kronzer has joined AFC as its Texas Director. Kronzer served with the Greater Houston Partnership for over five years, eventually becoming Vice President of Public Policy. Prior to joining the partnership, he was a budget analyst with the Legislative Budget Board and a healthcare consultant. Kronzer holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Miami and a MPA from George Washington University.
AWBD extends their support for AFC and their efforts to educate the community.
